A Unique First
in Central PA
We are a nonprofit coffee shop located in State College, PA. Developed by Strawberry Fields, Inc., Good Day Café was created in response to the 80% unemployment rate for people with disabilities. Our hashtag, #CoffeeWithACause, reflects our mission to provide meaningful employment opportunities to adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, and mental health diagnoses.

Good Day Café is a place where people of all abilities can contribute and belong to our community and where diversity is celebrated. Having a job gives you a sense of purpose, financial stability, independence, confidence, and so much more. Inspired by Bitty & Beau’s Coffee in Wilmington, N.C., we are committed to making a positive impact one cup at a time. Every purchase at Good Day Café helps to support this goal. We officially opened our doors in 2018 and since then have provided jobs for 18 individuals with disabilities.

You can find us in the Hamilton Square Shopping Center (286 W. Hamilton Avenue). We’re proud to serve locally roasted
Rothrock Coffee, Thunder Thunder Tea,
and a variety of other handcrafted beverages. Our menu offers delicious breakfast and
lunch options, including hearty breakfast sandwiches and toasty paninis. With ample parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, and covered outdoor seating, Good Day Cafe is the perfect place to relax or get work done in comfort. Plus, every purchase supports our mission
of employing adults with disabilities.
